Then we meet a possible H and Simone who wants revenge too. And the book Ends. Continues in the next 2 books sold together at a reasonable price. Now I am angst because I am not very happy with the h and it looks like bad decisions could be in the future. Tight writing but I would rather have it in one book. I'm not interested in going further and the story at this point hadn't pleased me.Product details

Listed as a Historical Christian Fiction title, but has curse words in it and the only Christian thing in it is a brief mention of going to church.
he imagination in this book. No surprises or intrigue to be found. Recommend finding another author that proofs their book better. Widen the list of characters and try to find some common ground with friends advising Mary to consider Christopher's side of the story instead of everyone
It was not pleasant about the fact that this is a cliffhanger......
It was a good premise.
I hope that the next part of this is LONGER.
This was a pretty good read. I thought it was slow in places but worth reading. If you like Laura Fletcher then you will love this book also. There is part of a series and I am betting that the next book will be just as good as this one was.
Mary struggles to make sure her mom is ok. When she looses her Mary is angry with her mothers family. When Mary decided to go to America she has to have her friends go with her. Once the ship arrived in America Mary's life changed. Eliot doesn't like it when he sees Mary talking to another man. The events in this book will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.
I liked this series and of course you have to read all the books in the series. Story line was great.
The negative thing could be said about the author's grammar. Being a stickler for proper grammar
makes the authors grammatical errors stick out like a sore thumb.
Fires Of Revenge is the first of three books in this series by Laura Fletcher. It has an interesting premise and I liked the characters, however, there were a few questions that came to mind, like how Anna and Mary could be hired as governesses without references. I also wondered how the three of them were able to save enough money for passage to America, a taxi and rooms at a boarding house as well as clothing appropriate for the position of governess. But that aside, I enjoyed the book except for the cliffhanger.
